Forty-five participants and the CAIRNS team boarded a bus for the first day of a two-day Lakotan Lands traveling seminar into Pine Ridge Reservation that is sponsored by Monument Health. This morning's itinerary included stops at the White River Visitors Center, Wounded Knee, and a step-on talk about dialysis by Betty Cox, shown in the photo above. After lunch in Pine Ridge, the classroom on wheels stopped at the 54th Annual Red Cloud Art Show before returning to Rapid City.
