This week’s CAIRNS Etanhan Wotanin column reports on the Navigating Narratives reception on June 1 that was hosted by the South Dakota Art Museum. There are only four first-person accounts of the interactions between the Corps of Discovery boatmen and Lakotans in 1804, and there were four poets who read their poems at the reception.
