Today the CAIRNS director returned to Wagner Community School to take down, with the help of Jimmy, Frannie, Jen and Brenda, the community versions of our Takuwe and Lakota Emergence exhibits. The photo above (taken by Jen) is of retired Dakota language teacher Deanna giving students a tour of the Takuwe exhibit. From Monday through Thursday she presented both exhibits to nearly 320 elementary, middle, and high school students.
