A CAIRNS team presented a free community workshop at Oglala Lakota ArtSpace. The focus was on hanhepi wi, the moon. We explored the phases of the moon and the names of the full moons. Attendees could also learn to screenprint graphics, such as a moon calendar, to clothing. The image above is a portion of a puzzle that attendees completed during the workshop.
