Monument Health, headquartered in Rapid City, South Dakota, is hosting a 3-day training seminar focusing on American Indian health for a wide spectrum of participants from across this state and beyond. The first two days of the seminar consist of the 48 participants getting "on the bus” for two expeditions into Pine Ridge Reservation led by a CAIRNS team. The final day of the training is devoted to presentations by experts and on small-group work on developing tangible solutions to the health disparaties between American Indians and non-Indians.
